Cosmocut privacy policy

Summary

Progress, purchases and settings are saved on your iPhone only. There are no accounts and no servers of ours, so we never see this data. Deleting the app deletes it.

Adverts

Unless you buy Pro or Remove adverts, Cosmocut shows a small banner advert from Google AdMob on menu screens, never during play.

To show, limit and measure adverts and to prevent fraud, Google may collect:

  • your device's advertising identifier, only if you allow tracking when asked
  • your IP address and the approximate location it gives
  • device type, iOS version and app version
  • which adverts were shown and tapped, and crash and performance data from the advert code

Google acts as an independent controller of this data. How Google uses information from apps that use its services.

Your advert choices

  • UK and EU: the game asks for consent on first launch. Change it any time in the game's Settings, Advert privacy choices.
  • Apple asks whether the game may track you. If you say no, adverts are not personalised. Change it in iPhone Settings, Privacy and Security, Tracking.
  • Adverts are limited to content suitable for the game's age rating.
  • After you buy Pro or Remove adverts, the advert code no longer starts and nothing is sent to Google.

Game Center

If you are signed in to Game Center, your scores and achievements are sent to Apple and shown to other players under Apple's terms. You can sign out in iPhone Settings, Game Center.

Purchases

Handled by Apple. We never see payment details.

Children

Cosmocut is not in the App Store Kids Category and is not directed at children under 13. Our kids edition, Cosmo Pop, has no adverts and collects no data.

Your rights

You can ask what we hold about you (normally nothing beyond emails you send us) and ask us to delete it. Email support@pixelowl.dev. UK users can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.
